The mission of Building Blocks Services is to empower students to become confident, competent learners with skills that enable them to achieve their academic, social and financial goals.
Building Blocks LLC, provides personalized one on one tutoring and career training services.
What We Do
We provide personalized one-on-one tutoring support in the area(s) of your choice. We partner with your teacher(s) to review the areas where you are struggling and we create a personalized education plan to move you from misunderstanding to learning. The goal for our K-12 and ELL students is to improve your understanding and allow that to improve your grades. For our ASVAB, GED®, and VPT clients, we are not successful unless you are successful on the tests! We tutor you to success. Our main goal for all of our students is to turn the struggling student into a confident, competent learner.
How We Do It
We take your current subject of study and support your learning through providing one-on-one instruction and support in that area. For K-12 students, we partner with your teacher(s) to garner the course syllabus and curriculum requirements so that we can tutor you to success. Our goal is to turn that struggling resistant student into a confident, competent learner.
All Building Blocks Services Tutors are licensed educators or uniquely qualified experts in particular subjects.
Why Work With Us
Many of our tutors are full-time teachers who take a personal interest in seeing all of their students/clients succeed.
Not only do our tutors submit a resume and complete our application, there is a personal interview conducted to determine whether or not the applicant is a good fit for Building Blocks Services and another interview is conducted to ensure that the tutor is a good match for the student. Students also have the opportunity to speak with the tutor prior to their session. We do not charge an additional fee to change tutors.
