Dr. Heather Lamb-Battick
BUILDING BLOCKS SERVICES, LLC
Founder Heather was raised in Virginia Beach, VA. She stayed in the area after graduating from high school and received a B.S. In Interdisciplinary Studies/Early Childhood Education. She then went on to receive an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and an M.A. in Pre-Elementary Education/Special Education and received an Ed.D in Educational Leadership. Dr. Lamb holds endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Administration & Supervision, and a Virginia Division Superintendent’s license. Currently, she supervises student teachers and educational leadership candidates for various universities. She has also presented at a national conference on parental involvement and single parent families. With over 20 years of experience in education, training, and small business development, her qualifications lead her to effectively drive Building Blocks Services, LLC. Being a college professor, she has a deep understanding of pedagogy and adult learning principles that enhance the effectiveness of our training programs. Dr. Lamb’s ability to design and deliver engaging and impactful educational experiences ensures that participants can readily apply their newfound knowledge and skills in their professional roles, fostering growth and productivity. She has a remarkable track record in securing federal workforce development grant monies, totaling over $600,000. This showcases her grant writing prowess and ability to navigate the complexities of funding opportunities. Her success in accessing these crucial resources significantly augments BBS’s ability to expand our services and reach a broader audience, positively impacting more organizations and individuals seeking professional development support. Moreover, her participation in and victory in a pitch competition exemplifies her strong communication and presentation skills. Her ability to effectively articulate the unique value proposition of our company captivates potential partners, clients, and investors, opening doors to new opportunities and partnerships that drive growth.
